HITSCAT(Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Common Aptitude Test) is designed to test students’ interest and aptitude towards non-engineering UG Programmes offered at HITS including the Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences.
The School of Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences (SLAAS) at HITS houses the humanities, social sciences, applied sciences, computer applications, design and 25+ interdisciplinary programmes.
It offers holistic programmes and unique opportunities that prepare students across a range of professions. Career-relevant programmes in liberal arts and applied sciences are designed to develop general knowledge on a wide array of topics and soft skills including creative thinking, collaboration and written/oral communication skills that are highly in demand in today’s dynamic and competitive job market.
HITS has partnered with over 100 plus educational institutions and universities across 42 countries including USA, UK, Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa and South America to advance knowledge, enhance global exposure, and shape a brighter future for SLAAS students. The Hindustan Business Incubator helps SLAAS students to successfully develop, explore and nurture ideas, create new enterprises and engage in activities that further practical and impactful economic and social change. The HBI unearths hidden potentials and empowers budding student entrepreneurs to develop ideas and technologies that will transform the world and benefit the society.
